MONDAY January 11th:
- I didn't have too much homework due this day, other than Science. I had to complete the first page of my nomenclature booklet. We're currently on Chemistry, my favourite unit, probably because I'm not too familiar with the contents of the other units we're studying.
- I didn't go to practice on Monday after school because I had a meeting for my LC committee (whew! Monday practices are the longest swim practices). After the meeting, my friend Elena and I waited for our teammates to finish practice.
- Afterwards, I got home and immediately started working on my art assignment (which was due Wednesday). I also had to finish up homework in History and English, and complete my Business report, all of which were due the next day.
- Drama presentations!!! My class was working on different pieces. My group had 6 members (including me), and our piece was called 'Smells'. Unfortunately, one of the members of my group wasn't there so we didn't end up performing.
- Since I had homework basically from every class due this day, we just took up that homework in class.
- I went to swim practice after school for half an hour because we had a meet coming up on Friday.
- This day and Thursday were probably the most frustrating. My French comic strip was due this day. The comic strip was supposed to show what we had done over the winter break. The form for the French trip was also due, thankfully I remembered to ask my mom to sign it before we left the house that morning.
- I had a math quiz this day! I used to be great at math, it was my best subject. But for some reason, I haven't been doing so well in math since we got to high school. Our math quiz was moved to Thursday because our class was invited to go down and watch a theatre production.
- Science! We had a quiz scheduled for Thursday, but was cancelled due to workshops. However, the workshops ended up being cancelled so our quiz was moved back to Thursday (bummer).
- My art assignment was due this day. I didn't even end up finishing it, but my teacher told me to hand it in anyways, otherwise I wouldn't get any marks for it. This art assignment has been stressing me out for the past month, and I didn't even finish it!!
- Since I wasn't going to be in the majority of my classes on Friday because of the swim meet I had (the last swim meet of the season!). I had to do my English quiz a day early, during my lunch period! It was on the first 50 pages of the book we're reading in class. But I didn't even read the first 50 pages, but I did the quiz anyway.
- This day was not fun for me. I had 3 quizzes in a row, a math quiz during 2nd period, English quiz 3rd period, and science quiz 4th period.
- Friday was a chill day because I had the swim meet. It was the last meet of our swim season before we head off to Regionals in February. I only had to attend my first and second period classes, which in this case was drama and lunch. Not much happened this day. I wasn't too excited about my events because they were so far apart. I had to do 50 back (event #7) and 50 free (event #19). Although I was happy with the strokes and distances I was swimming, my last event was a medley relay where I was swimming backstroke, and it was event #59. I sat there through 40 events just to swim back! The part that wasn't all great was that I couldn't change and leave early because I still had that one event.
Anyways, that was a quick recap of what my week was like. It doesn't seem too stressful from what I put down, but I seriously thought I would end up pulling all my hair out from the stress. Hopefully, I won't have as much homework this week. Who knows? Also, check out the new video I posted! It's a Winter night routine for school!
